Character Naming

As an Author naming your Character is an important step right after coming up with the plot. I am here to help you choose the right character name for you and your story.

Make sure your character name is Genre Appropriate. Make sure if it's a Historical Fiction novel or takes place in a real time period that the name was used then. Or if it's a fictionalized place then you can be as creative as you wish.

Just have fun with naming your character. It is after all your story.

Meaning: ("Handsome Servant". From "Faeger Hine". May also have derived as an Old English occupational name for Oxen Herders, or from the Gaelic personal name Faramund, which might mean "Thunder". Also possibly from a French surname which was derived from the German given name Faro. Saint Faro (seventh century) was a French bishop.)

Origin: (Old English)

Pronunciation: (fah-ROHN)

Gender: Female, Possibly Uni-Sex

I can’t remember where I at first saw this name but I really liked the look. I like the meanings and history as well. It is a nice strong handsome name. I wouldn’t mind seeing this name more often.
